How to Quickly Freshen a Guest Bedroom

Someone's finally coming to visit and your guest room will make them want to cut their visit short. Here are some easy ways to spruce up a guest bedroom just in time for visitors.

1) Make room- If you closests and drawers are jam packed as storage move some of it so your guest can store some of their things. Especially make room in the closest for them to hang a nice outfit or two depending on the length and reason of their stay. Finish by setting a small bowl on the dresser to hold your guest's jewelry and loose change.

2) Dress the bed- if you haven't had time or motivation to change the sheets from the last time you had a guest now is the time to get motivated and do it. Throw the pillows (with cases on) in the dryer on a low setting for five minutes to dedust and fluff them. Replace the winter comforter with a lighter blanket so your guest don't over heat. Spritz some fabric freshener on the linens to make them smell nice and fresh.

3) Spiff up surfaces- open the blinds and turn on the lights so you can see where dust has settled. Run a microfiber cloth over the surfaces to dust them. Empty the waste basket and put in a clean liner for your guest. Finally vacuum, if you don't have time to vacuum the whole room only do the middle of the room where dirt is most noticeble.
