Easy Spring Cleaning Tips
If you don’t have time for a huge ordeal, here are some tips from the Good Housekeeping Institute on how to tackle the important stuff.
Behind the big stuff
This is a great time to move the beds, sofas and other heavy furniture that you typically don’t bother with. Going one side at a time, pull the item away from the wall. Clean behind it and use the appropriate attachment on your vacuum to get the floor and baseboards. Push it back in, and pull out the other side to do the same.

Bring the Indoors Out!
Now more than ever before, people are spending time outdoors or in their backyards. If you're planning on selling your home now or in the future, or even just love hanging outdoors, then consider making some changes. Upgrades can turn your backyard into an entirely new living area while increasing the value of your home sweet home!
You could craft an outdoor kitchen- it's as easy as starting with a grill! Or add an outdoor sink and prep area, portable refrigerator, food storage, patio set for six...the options are endless.
A new patio is an excellent way to define livable outdoor space. Consider eco-friendly Trex decking or hardscape options like brick pavers or decorative stones!

Easy Painting Tips to Enhance your Home
There's nothing like a fresh coat of paint to bring new life to your home. And when it's time to move, it will bring a return on your investment. Make painting your home easier by using these painting tips!
- Use a bigger paint chip. It's difficult to visualize what an entire wall or room will look like based on a small paint chip from the store. Buying large quantities of paint and doing the whole project can cost a lot and yield to dissapointing results. Instead, buy a small can of paint and a poster board. Paint the board and try it out on various walls in the room to see how you like the color at different times of the day.
Decorating tip of the day- Small changes make a big difference
Tip 1. Rearrange your living or great room. Instead of one big seating area in the middle of the room, seperate the room up into two smaller, cozier seating areas. It also creates better conversation flow. Make your fireplace the focal point of the room if you can, it adds to the warmth of the room!
