In fact, I'm often the second Realtor in, and often time staging fixes the issue. Case in point: i had a home with a almost double size casement opening from the kitchen/breakfast area to the family room. The seller had a recliner that somewhat backed up to the opening. Before the house went on the market, I asked her to move the recliner. She didn't do it, because that is where she rocked her baby to sleep at night. After 3 weeks of showing feedback that said the family room was too small, I finally got her to move it. The house then sold within the next 5 days. No other comments about a small family room! Staging works!

Ginny comments on Selling a home doesn't take magic!

I think you are completely right. All homes need to be priced correctly in order to be sold. However, condition does play a large factor. What do you think about home staging in order to make the home look like it's in better condition? Does that actually work? Thanks for the info!

floridagreen comments on S & P downloads rating

Fantastic real estate blog post!
