I have been staging homes for the past 15 years, and I absolutely believe in its benefits! In fact, I'm often the second Realtor in, and often time staging fixes the issue. Case in point: i had a home with a almost double size casement opening from the kitchen/breakfast area to the family room. The seller had a recliner that somewhat backed up to the opening. Before the house went on the market, I asked her to move the recliner. She didn't do it, because that is where she rocked her baby to sleep at night. After 3 weeks of showing feedback that said the family room was too small, I finally got her to move it. The house then sold within the next 5 days. No other comments about a small family room! Staging works!

I think you are completely right. All homes need to be priced correctly in order to be sold. However, condition does play a large factor. What do you think about home staging in order to make the home look like it's in better condition? Does that actually work? Thanks for the info!

I agree, Steve. I think a lot of it has to do with marketing, and trying to improve sales. Reading the labels is always the best way!

There are certainly a lot of food products which claim that they are indeed healthy. However, I think consumers should read the labels first before purchasing these food products. Try also checking the nutrition facts and if it's approved by the food and drug agency.
